WD My Passport 1Tb HD Not Initializing

Hi,

I have WD 1 Tb External HD (07A8). I am facing problem in accessing it, its showing in device mgr but not in compter as shown in pic. It shows “Not Initialized”. And when i try to initialize it show I/O error.

Please Help me in recovering my data.

Hello and welcome to the WD community.

You can try a different computer or perhaps a different USB cable to see if the drive comes up, in any case since the drive is visible on the computer you can try to see if you can use a Data Recovery software, lets see if another user can give you some advice and tips on this matter.

thankx for your reply.

I have tryied 3 different cables also tried with 3 different computer and also tried on windows and linux both os.

All sowing same error.

In diskpart it shows like as in pic.

I need my data back hard disk is in warranty.
