WD my cloud stuck with WD"my cloud logo

Hi there.
Background: I was able to access the files by mobile using My Cloud OS3. Interface for PC was stuck in “Initializing”.
What I did: hard reset the WD MY Cloud (power off, press reset, power on and keep reset for more than 40s then release).
Outcome: PC interface stuck with WD MY Cloud logo in top left corner … nothing else.
My Cloud OS3: Message shows “Something went wrong. we’re having trouble connecting to your device. Make sure the device is powered on and connected to the internet.”. I have the option to press “Got it” :slight_smile:


The settings for Windows credentials are set to username “admin” with no password.
Intermediary (for ~half second the screen with “Attempting to authenticate …” is on screen before is stuck.
