WD My Cloud Not Accessible via Host Name on network

I installed my WD My Cloud in a my home network. I have a WIndows 7 PC and a Mac book air connected to the same network. 

When i try to access the My Cloud Dashboad via URL(mycloud.local) from a mac its not working.

But with IP Address its working.

Also I am not able to see WDMycloud in shared devices in finder. I have to manually connect.

Also the i tunes server is not accessable eventhough its enabled in My Cloud.

I have static IP setup for my cloud. 

Pls help and any help is much appretiated !!!

Did you upgrade to the latest firmware? The previous version had an issue with the iTunes server, and a separate fix was made available. The new firmware is supposed to fix the issue.

yes I do upgraded the firmware - Rebooted the device multiple times. Nothing seems to work. Pls help 

is the mycould, PC & Mac all in the same workgoup (or what ever the mac calls it)?

WIndows is not always reliable resolving by name, not sure if Mac shares this issue

If the above dosn’t help try a system only restore, it removes users and passwords but leave data & shares in tact

Yes - They are in same network. 

I tried a restore - That again didnt work.

But I entered the DNS manually in System Preferences in Mac and host name works !!!

ITunes still not working. Pls help !!!
