So i used my WDCM just as normal dataserver, not as a raid. 2 days ago, both disk led´s went red. In the browser it said no drives are configurated and all data was gone.

I connected the drives directly to my win10 it says it needs to be formated. With testdisk i can find some data.

Here is my question: First, how can that happen? It worked fine for years no problems. And are there any solutions other than just scan/recover it?

Have you tried a 4 second reset or a 40 second reset?
