I have 2xwd my book essentials 2tb drives attached to my pc for media stream, they both work very well but i dont like the fact they go to sleep too fast, i think its about 10-15 mins, is there a way to change this,also i dont have any of the software that came with the drive, thanks
On the latest smartware version is not possible, try installing the smartware version that came with your my book and don’t do any updates, then go to settings and then set up setup for the sleep time options.
like i already said, i havent got any software for the drive
