WD My Book Essential on an iMac

I am trying to set up a WD My Book Essential, and as part of the instal, i get an error message saying i the following are missing:

/System/Library/Extensions/WD1394HPDriver.kext
/System/Library/Extensions/WDUSBHPDriver.kext

How do i go about downloading these items?

A WD My Book Essential should not need a dedicated installation on a Mac OS system. Try replacing the USB cable and formatting your unit within Disk Utility.
