WD must update the FW

My request is that WD must update the FW of all MyCloud Home HDD because it’s impossible to configure in the private net tonuse as a normal net HDD, is impossible to detect the nas by the SMART TV, it’s not renameble, it’s not available the DLNA…
Otherwise will be necessary to send back the product as “not usable” !

You should certainly return the My Cloud Home (MCH) if you are not able or willing to learn to do simple functions such as this. The DLNA functionality is only activated upon enabling Plex Media Server on the MCH and enabling the DLNA media server toggle within Plex.

This is explained fully in the MCH owners manual. If you are more comfortable writing in Italian or Spanish or another language, you can go to the various language subforum links on the upper right tab of this forum web page.
