WD Media Player (WDBABF) Gen 2 compatibility with 4tb MyBook (WDBBGB0040HBK-NESN)?

Hi all,

Having trouble here.
2nd Gen WD Media Player (WDBABF…) not seeing external 4tb My Book (WDBBGB0040HBK-NESN) hard drive connected? Hard drive can be read without issue on my desktop pc, check disk performed. ok.

My Book is formatted to NTFS. Firmware update on WD Player is (1.06.16_b)

Any ideas?

Unfortunately, My Book devices (Model #WDBBGB0040HBK-NESN) are not supported by
WD TV HD Media Player (Gen 2) device. You may refer this KBA for further details:
