WD Live wouldn't detect my m2ts file and ts file

Hi

I had convent a movie to m2ts file, I load in my hard disk but can’t find this file at all. I tried and convert to ts file but still nothing shown at all…

Please advice

Hi,

m2ts is a container format only, like AVI. An m2ts file can contain videos of different formats. How has your movie been encoded? If you don’t know that, install the program MediaInfo and check whether the format of your movie is compatible with the WD TV. I bet that this is not the case, else the WD TV would at least try to play the file. If you have the programs needed, try to encode your movie as MPEG2 or AVCHD, but avoid formats like MOV or WMV.
