When I tried connecting my WD Live, it originally connected to the internet and did 2 updates. After the 2nd update I wasn’t able to connect to my wireless DLINK router using WEP encryption, but able to when I removed the encryption. I tried assigning static IP to no avail and getting ready to return it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Have you tried using wpa2?
Wep is quiet old and not many devices serously support it anymore due to it being so insecure.
