WD Live and external access to NAS

Hello,

I was wondering; is there any chance to tell my WD Live to access a specific NAS via external access via its DDNS-adress? A friend of mine lives next door and we would like to give him access to my synology NAS. But he is not in the same network and its too far away to put up a cable.

Does anyone got an idea?

Unfortunately the device does not feature a method to specify a content source outside of your local network.
