WD is malfunctioning

Hello!

I have an external hard drive and for some reason after a couple of minutes turning it on, it suddenly stops. The blue light is still on, but when opening a document or a folder - it’s blank.

It’s frustrating because all of my projects are in that drive.

Please let me know the best thing to do.

Check whether your drive is sleeping in a short period. Press F5 or use Refresh. Check again if you have a different issue.

Use Crystal Disk to keep your drive from sleeping. (May heat up your drive and needs additional cooling if not actively cooled)
