This is a dumb question but would really help me out if someone can answer it…The WD My Book External HD is designed to be standing up like a tower, i don’t like that for the obvious reson of someone knocking it over but the question is: can i use it horizontally and is there a particular side it should face? Thank you if anyone can help.

WD Hard drives can be mounted in any position (x,y,z) without damage to platters.
