I lost my 2tb passport with valuable information in it. Is there any way it can be tracked, or access to it blocked using the serial number? Can Local investigative authorities do anything using the serial number?

I recommend you contact your local authorities and provide the serial number of your drive. I dont think it can be tracked or blocked but I recommend you contact WD support.
