I have an external hard drive that I need to get fixed. When I connect it to the USB Port on my Laptop, the light indicator on my HD comes on and stays on. I wonder if I need to download another driver software in order to get it working. I don’t want to lose all the files on the HD. Where can I get help with this problem? It is a MY Book 160 GB Hard Drive.

Hi robbygr, sorry to hear you cannot access your files. Have you tried some basic troubleshooting steps like using another USB cables or connecting the drive to another PC? You can also try running a DLG test to rule out any possible hardware damage.
