I just purchased a 4 tb Gold hdd to be used in an external dock. The drive is not recognized in disk management. I have used this dock with two other drives without any issues.OS is Win 10. Advice please.

Does the drive spin up?
If not, check whether it is subject to the “Power Disable” issue on SATA power pin #3.
