WD Gold firmware version

I am using 4 WD Gold 6TB in my Synology NAS.
There is 1 disk recently encountering a problem making my NAS storage pool degraded 3 times.
Synology checked and suggested me updating to the firmware of these HDDs.
Can I update the fireware by myself or it’s a must to bring to them to local suppliers?

My Old ver: 01.01M02
New ver: 01.01.M03
