i have done a firmware upgrade and after that i am not been able to see the drive anymore,i restart my computer but no luck,can somebody advise waht i should do because i have my data in that drive.Please any help guys…Thanks.

I don’t know much about Macs it sounds dumb but some frimware for Macs need to be done on a Windows PC http://community.wdc.com/t5/External-Drives-for-Mac/My-Passport-for-Mac-frimware-update-problem/td-p/17742/page/5 look at post 47 by screwedconsumer. It’s not a good idea to store important data on one physical drive internal or external.
