WD Elements: SMART not supported

I just bought a WD Elements Portable 750gb USB3 10B8.

Unfortunately, when I start Smarttools it says: SMART not supported.

What’s wrong?

I assume this drive does support smart??!!

I’m not familiar with Smart tools. I saw that is a mobile app.
