Hi I just bought a WD elements portable 3tb and as soon as it is connected to my computer my mouse slows/jumps all over the place…as soon as I disconnect it the mouse returns to normal.
I can’t use the HD like this. How can I solve this problem?
Does it do the same thing when you connect it to a different computer? What about if you use a different USB cable?
There’s tons of info online about how USB3 devices can interfere with both Bluetooth and WiFi devices. Many times simply using a different port or moving the drive and cable a few inches can make a lot of difference.
