WD Elements play not recognized on pc,

Hi, i really need help with this!!!

The other night i wanted to watch a movie on my WD Elements play 2tb hard drive. But when i connected it to the tv it said “unable to detect internal hard drive, please check” I later discovered that when i connected it to my pc it didn’t show up in “my computer” or “disk management”.Does anyone know how to fix this?

If the hard drive is not recognized on the computer it might be faulty, try to contact tech support to replace it.
