Hey guys… My WD Elements play Multimedia Drive can’t read Vietnamese subtitle… But English and Chinese subtitle turn out to be fine. Vietnamese subtitle has error when it appears, It doesn’t appear the whole sentence completely but it turn out to be missing some words… Can’t read it

What can I do to make it appears Vietnamese subtitle normally? And it firmware is :1.01.02

Please help me. Thank you guys so much…

Is possible that Vietnamese subtitles are not compatible, did you check the manual?

The character set supported by the chipset does not contain the characters with diacritical signs particular to the Vietnamese language. By this, these letter are simply dropped.

Never chipsets (e.g., Realtek 1186) display UTF-8 encoded Vietnamese subtitles correctly.
