WD Elements Different Model Numbers WDBBKG0040HBK vs WDBWLG0040HBK

Hi,
I recently purchases a WD Elements 4TB external desktop hardrive,

I notice the model number is WDBBKG0040HBK-AESN
When I look up on WD official website for my hard drive, I notice the model number is different, it is WDBWLG0040HBK-NESN.

May I know if the hard drive I purchases is a legit WD hard drive and what is the difference between the 2 model numbers since they are both wd elements external desktop 4tb.

I have also notice that the power adapter that I was provided is a little different from previous WD external drive i have purchased. The power adapter pins are rotated, so when i plug it into a powerpoint, it goes in sideways, so the wire extends out from either the right or left side.
My older power adapter pins are rotated normally so that the wire drop downwards/below from the adapter when plug into a power adapter.

Is this new adapter correctly positioned?

Thanks.
