[wd elements desktop] led problem

Hi.

I have a strange problem with my WD Elements Desktop 2TB USB 3.

I have bought it this week.

My PC and all peripherals (esternal hd, monitor etc.) are connected to multiple socket with a turn off button.

When I turn off my PC, I turn off the multiple socket too but the led of the WD Elements is still bright with little coming and going flashes althought the electricity is off.

Is it normal?

Can you help me?

Do you still have the same issue if you disconnect your WD Element’s power adapter?

No, there ins’t any issue.

The hardisk works well except for this led problem.

edit: I solved.

It was a phase problem.

I only had to rotate the plug of multiple socket.
