Please help me on this my external hard disk was not recognized in windows, but it showed up in disk management showing it needs to be initialized unfortunately in virtual disk management access is denied.
Hi, I would suggest you to insert your hard drive into another system and try to initialize it. If still you unable to format it, then might be your external hard drive is faulty. In this situation, you need to contact hard drive manufacturer for assistance. Thanks!!
This is the problem of WD hard disk. I have my passport ultra 1 TB, it started giving same problem within 2 yr, and I lost my important backup data.
They only replaced it with new one, but again within one month the same problem occurs and now I have lost my precious data.
Product is not reliable .
