WD Elements 4GB not recognised by any machine

After a few months my 4TB Elements Portable Hard Drive has stopped being recognised by any computer. I have tried changing the cable and it made no difference. It is possible to feel it powering up but theres still no way of using it.

The serial number is WDBU6Y. It was purchased in December 2018 via amazon uk and im based in the uk.

Am I entitled to a replacement/refund?

You will need to Register your hard drive and check the Warranty Status and then check the WD Webiste on how to request an RMA.

Last tip … “WDBU6Y” is not a Serial Number, it’s part of the Model Number, also … Never post Serial Numbers on Public Forums. Serial Numbers are your Warranty … you don’t want it stolen.
