I used this hard disk for just 3 month. when i plug it out and inserted again … it stop showiing in finder. `Than i also insert in other window laptop the problem is same … it light blinks and the fan also run when i insert it in laptop but it won’t show. I had made the partation but forget the password. please Suggest me for futher solution …

Try connecting the drive to a Windows computer and write zeros to it using WD DLG. (this will delete everything on the drive) and then you can partition it again.

thanks Hamlet, finally hard disk has been shown by that software in window laptop but i tried to erase as you told by clicking zero… but the process could not be completed due to error
