WD Elements 1TB Problems

i got recently a new WD Elements, the issue is that after change the name and put some documents there, it stops working, i can see the device on the divece manager but not the disk on the disk manager.

I found that maybe the disk manager wasnt changing the name, but if i even try to change i cant not found it.

i’ve tryed to make the test with the software that WD recommend, Data Lifeguard but even that software cant recognice the disk.

Any suggestion?

Hello,

If you have a desktop version of the WD Elements, make sure that the unit is connected to a wall outlet and try changing the USB cord.

If the drive is not showing under disk management, you wont be able to see it with the diagnostic tool.
