WD Elements 1TB Not Initialized

I’ve purchased my WD Elements couple of days ago and it worked fine. Yesterday, when I was transfering some data on it, everything freezed, so I had to pull USB cable out.
After that WD Elements is not recognized on any of my PC-s…and in Disk Management it says ‘Not Initialized’. When I try to initialize it it says : ‘The system cannot find the file specified’.

I see on google search that this was the common problem in 2011/2012, but I could not find the solution for it…

I would recommend testing the device with Western Digital Data Lifeguard Diagnostics for Microsoft Windows after changing the USB cable, and attempting to initialize in a different computer system.

If the device still refuses to initialize or if it fails a diagnostics test, then unfortunately the device may need to be replaced under warranty.
