WD Element External HDD not visible in MY computer, but detected device & printer option

Whenever i plug in my WD Element 10A8 External HDD it giving normal plugin Audio, Light is visible on HDD but it is not visible in My computer.

in DISK MANAGEMENT HDD status is Unknown , Not initialized ,

if try to initalized by MBR option it gives error stating ‘The request failed due to fatal Hardware Error’

Hi dhanesh,

It seems that your drive has gone bad as it is showing fatal hardware error on the drive. You can replace the drive by referring the link given below, if it is under warranty.

Get a Warranty Replacement, Power Supply, or USB Cable for your WD Product

I’m out of warranty…
Any service centre in Mumbai , India which will fix this problem ? Fees for same ?
