Just plugged in a new EasyStore from Best Buy into the Mac.
It came with Mac version of WD Drive Utilities version 2.1.0.112 dated March 8 2017.
WD, please get your act together and release the current version on the downloads page:
Currently the WD Drive Utilities for Mac there is Version: v2.0.5.18, Release Date: 10/24/2016.
Why is a newer version available through mail order but not electronically?
Also, when I run the long test I get the message, “Running Complete Drive Test; approximately %11$@%% complete.” Screen shot available upon request. Note that the % complete updates later and is displayed correctly and that only the initial display shows garbage.
Please test your code before releasing it.
p.s. please hire someone who can manage the Mac product line with quality testing and care. This is sad for such a large company.
