The WD Drive Manager seems to be doing hundreds of page faults even when there isn’t a WD drive attached to the system. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix?
This is for Windows XP SP3.

Try to uninstall the drive manager and reinstall the application from the WD website.
What drive do you have? Model?
WD Drive Manager isn’t required for the unit to work so you can live without it. But, if you want to still use it then you can uninstall it and download the lastest version from this link.

If issue continues please specify the type of errors you get.
I quit using it on My Book Pro II and it works fine.
