The WD Discovery software which came with my My Book drive is incompatible with Windows Explorer on Windows 10. I have updated to the latest version but every time I go to Network in Explorer, the icon for my internet router ‘Plusnet Hub One’ in Other Devices keeps coming and going every one to two seconds. The only way to get my router to be displayed permanently is to End the process ‘WD Drive Service (32-bit)’ in Task Manager. What does ‘WD Drive Service’ actually do and can WD please fix this software otherwise I will have to uninstall and stop using it?
