WD Combo External USB drive not showing on network

Good morning. I have an old WD Combo external USB drive (WD1600B011) that I used to use connected to my laptop (as and when required). I’ve just tried to move it to my router (BT Hub 6). My router manager says that it’s connected but I can’t see it on the network from File Explorer on my laptop. I’m using a Lenovo laptop running the latest version of Windows 10. Is there something else I need to do to get this to show up, please?
