Hi. I recently bougth a 2TB HD Caviar Green, and installed as an additional HD. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate in another Sata HD. When I go to the BIOS, it recongnizes the 2 TB HD. But when I start windows and go to the explorer, the HD does not appears at all. I updated the BIO and check the HD is working fine, so it is hot and spinning. Any hint to solve the problem? thanks,
You will need to initialize and format the drive.
Right Click Computer> Manage> Disk Management. The drive will come up there to be initialized and formatted, once that’s done you’ll be good to go.
