I recently heard, that new sn550 revision uses new QLC memory type and new firmware is 233010WD. So I guess my SSD with 211210WD firmware is older one with TLC memory? I bought it in this July
Firmware 211210WD would indicate the older non-crippled model of the SSD. I have the same firmware in mine (purchased last year).
What’s changed in the 211210WD release from the previous version 211070WD?
Who knows what they changed in the previous version?
Are there any release notes?
Will the original sn550 with fast TLC mem be slowed down by it in order to perform just as bad as the new but slow sn550?
