WD Backup: when to start a new full backup set

Not sure how WD backup software does full / incremental backups. After the initial full backup is done, will it keep doing incremental backups indefinitely until space runs out or will it suggest or automatically begin a new full backup set?

any suggestions on a backup routine using WD backup software
