Hello. I have a 10TB WD External HD that I use solely to run a daily backup of my PC.
The daily backup stops and I get a notification saying “Target Full”.
When I checked the details on my PC, I saw that the 10TB WD HD showed 2.66TB free of 9.09TB.
What actions can I take to enable the backup to continue using this alleged 2.66 TB of additional free space?
P.S. This happened before so I completely reformatted it and started a fresh daily backup. It’s been working up until today (since the reformat a few months ago). Today it’s stopped with the above message. I’d like to find a more permanent solution to use more of the available space. Perhaps there is only 6.43 TB available space for daily backup on my 10TB HD (?) This seems strange to me.
