Wd backup software cannot find My Passport ultra external drive

Hi folks,

First time user of WD products.

I have a WD My Passport Ultra 2TB Ext HD.

Windows 10 finds the drive & can copy files to it.

However, the WD backup software cannot find the My Passport drive!

I was intrerested i using the WD backup software for automated backups…

I then tried W10 backup system.
File backups work OK although the default selection only copies across ~ 8GB of data whereas I have ~ 200GB!

I also tried the W7 automated backup that comes with W10 but that too failed.

I recommend you try uninstalling and reinstalling WD Backup.
