WD backup installation

Hi.
I am installing a new WD disk on a HP laptop. The laptop is brand new as well.
I can read the WD drive content from the computer, I can copy files there or from there.
WD discovery, WD Drive Utilities and WD security are all installed and run.
On installing WD Backup the installation assistant stops on “Select your service cloud or WD storage” and says that it can’t find the destination device. The only option is to cancel installation…
What have I got wrong?
