Help, in error I installed the WD software on my Mac Book before connecting the storage unit to my network, now I can’t use the software without paying for something I have already bought. I have tried to uninstall but each time I load the disk it is telling me that a new version is on my harddrive which I can’t find or use. Any ideas how to get round this, either a way to remove from the Mac in total or another way to load the WD software.

Also, you can use Time machine (Mac backup software) to backup your files.
