I running XP Home. Getting installation error on the Acronis software that says “Installation was interrputed before Acronis WD True Imaging Software could be installed. You need to restart the installer to try again”
Ran disk cleanup and restarted computer a few times.
Have McAfee software and disabled it
Attempting to install software in Safe Mode ( didn’t work)
Downloaded file and ran download from harddrive - same error
Would appreciate if anyone can share some ideas on this
On our downloads page under your drive model, you can download a copy of Acronis. Maybe something is wrong with the Cd.
Same problem here with OEM WD drive and downloaded Acronis!! 
I’m getting the same problem. Did you ever find a solution?
