WD 60EFAX firmware update

I have just purchased 2of WD60EFAX drives for a Qnap TS-563 and they fail- There is a note on the Qnap compatibility list that the firmware may need updating to version 83.00A83. where do I get this from and how do update the firmware

I suspect that this “5400 RPM class” model may actually spin at 7200 RPM.
