Bought and using a pretty new 2019 WD 4TB MYPASSPORT - MAC at work studio…no probs…sometimes mounts a little slow – no longer than 10 min. – on both Mac Pro Tower (Trashcan) 2013…and Mac Mini 2012…but as of Jan 19 2020…not mounting on same Mac Mini at home studio – do a lotta video-audio editing via FCP. Not even WD utilities and discovery software, let alone my Mac Mini UTILITIES are mounting it. Should I wait and download all content back at Work Studio and reformat it at work?
I have seen many threads with mounting issues on a Mac. I am wondering if it is a software related issue. The biggest problem is that WD is NOT interacting with their users.
