I have been using a 4TB external HDD for the past 1.5 years, this is the 5th time that GPT is getting corrupted even though I always safely remove the HDD. While trying to fix it using the “checkdisk” it gives error as “Windows unable to recover GPT”. I am using it as a single partition only. Due to this issue I have to data recovery every time. Is anyone else having the same issue and if yes do you have any fix for it? I have tried third party tools like MiniTool Partition and EaseUS.
