I’ve had a WD TV Live with an external hard drive that I’ve been watching movies on for over a year. Recently we setup a TV in the bedroom and we purchased a WD TV Play for it. It works fine to watch movies if we move the hard drive to it, or to watch Netflix.
What I’d like to do is figure out a way to watch videos stored on the HD attached to the WD TV Live on the WD TV Play without having to physically move the hard drive from one room to the other.
