i’ve been an occassional on/off user of linux and i recently installed ubuntu 11.1, at the basic level i’ve installed pyneighbourhood, i see the MBL and the Public folder. I want to drag it to the right to be able to access it in ubuntu, however the mount share dialogue box has 2 choices, Anonymous or Userid & Password. the share is public, when i choose Anonymous, the share will not appear in ubuntu, when i choose Userid & Password, I am unsure of which to use or how it should be typed. i am using MBL with public shares, the only password i have set up on the drive is my Admin account. can someone help out, I want to set up the MBL in ubuntu so i can access my public shares …
added: i set up the MBL in Windows 7, and primarily use the drive among 2 windows boxes. so i don’t want to make changes to the file system, i just want to find the correct map/path and input the username info correctly to get it working in ubuntu
