I’ve been looking through some of the threads about usb hubs and compatibility, but I can’t work out if the players being referenced are the same as mine. The side of the player has the following info: WD TV Live HD Media Player P/N: WDBAAP0000NBK-01 [deleted] My questions are these: - is my player compatible with a USB hub? - If so, which ones? - As for firmware, do I have to update that myself, or is it automatic? Thanks in advance for any help. 
I think that is something that you need to test yourself, to see if its going to work or not, I haven’t used one myself, but some users from the forum might have some suggestions on witch models are compatible.
Thanks for the reply. I’m not really interested in spending money on something that may not work, or having to test multiple usb hubs, hence asking in a forum. 
I was just wondering if anyone else had already done the testing and knows for sure which work, and which don’t, if any.
