I was wondering if I move all of my photo files from my MacBook hard drive onto my My Book Live hard drive can I view the photos in iPhoto without having them on my MacBook hard drive?

Don’t have a mac so I can’t say for sure but I assume that would be possible. You should be able to tell iPhoto where your photos are located in some sort of options menu and it should do the rest.
