Video playback not smooth

Hi.

I am really disapoited…

Video playback is really not smooth.

For HD videos,it even freezes sometimes. If I then stop and play again video,it works ok.

For regular, not HD videos I noticed if scene changes a lot, than i see like delay, like video is updated 15 frames per second.

WD TV Live is connected to USB drive, which works perfectly. It is also connected to LG TV (full hd) via hdmi.

It seems to me that either cpu is not poweful enough or codecs are seriously not good.

The whole purpose of this device is smooth video playback.

Any ideas?

BR,ivan

Does happen to all your videos?

You should post the mediainfo on a problem video.  http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en (free)

I also have experienced this problem. it happens both on Netflix network movies and movies viewed via attached USB HD. This has happened with several movies. My setup is to a 1080p HDMI connection to a Mitsubichi DLP tv.

Any help would be appreciated. This problem really interferes with movie viewing.

Note - I just noticed this after installing latest firmware release.
